Join us as we celebrate 10 Days of #GivingTuesday!

The Nationals Youth Baseball Academy, the signature program of Nationals Philanthropies, delivers holistic youth development programs year round including academic enrichment, physical activity, and health education – imparting a lasting impact on the lives of school-aged children living in Wards 7 and 8.

Running for ten days through the annual day of giving on Tuesday, November 30, we will highlight stories of the Academy’s impact through features of its programs and people – beginning with our campus, scholars, and academic program.

Donate now for #GivingTuesday!

Your support during this time helps us raise critical funds to operate the Academy and sustain our youth development program. All donors of $100 or more will receive a navy winter hat featuring the Academy logo as a special thank you for your support.

Get to know the programs and people that make the Academy special. Explore our ten features below throughout the #GivingTuesday campaign, and lend your support with a donation today.

Campus, Scholars, and Academics

The nine-acre education and recreation campus in Ward 7 is a gathering place for school-aged Scholar Athletes to participate in our afterschool enrichment, which is anchored in delivering academic support.

Mentors, Market, PLAY, and Coaches

Meetings with a trusted adult mentor and access to healthy food from the Academy market are also cornerstones of our afterschool enrichment program. YBA PLAY introductory baseball clinics led by trained staff and volunteer coaches offer a first chance for kids to try the sport.
