What is Jerseys Off Their Backs?
Jerseys Off Their Backs is a long-running fundraiser hosted by Washington Nationals Philanthropies, the official charitable arm of the Washington Nationals. This Raffle gives fans the chance to win an authentic, autographed jersey “off the back” of a Nationals player or coach at the conclusion of the season.
Whom does the raffle benefit?
Proceeds benefit Washington Nationals Philanthropies and its ongoing community impact work in the Greater Washington, D.C. region. To learn more about Nationals Philanthropies, go to nats4good.org.
How can I participate in the raffle?
Fans can participate in the raffle by purchasing tickets online or in-park during each Nationals home game from September 26 through October 1, 2022. Tickets will be available on game days until two hours after first pitch.

How much do tickets cost?
Tickets are available for purchase at three price points: five tickets for $20, ten tickets for $40, and 25 tickets for $100.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We currently accept cash, debit, and credit as forms of payment. We cannot accept e-cash or Nats Bucks at this time.
Can I purchase tickets online?
Tickets can be purchased online from anywhere in Washington, D.C. Visit www.natsjerseys.com to purchase.
Is there a difference between the in-park and online raffle?
Yes – the in-park raffle runs from September 26-October 1 with a drawing occurring two hours after the first pitch of Game 2 on October 1. The total number of winners of the in-park and online raffles will consist of the Nationals active roster and manager Davey Martinez. The online raffle presents fans with an additional chance to win by purchasing tickets online during each home game from September 26-October 1, with a drawing for one jersey occurring two hours after the first pitch of each game.
I purchased tickets in-park, how will I know if I won?
Winners of the in-park Raffle will receive notice via email and phone on October 1 by 10:00 p.m EST. The winning Tickets will be announced at Nationals Park in the middle of the 7th inning of the 7:05 p.m. game on October 1, 2022 (or within fifteen minutes following any postponement or cancellation announcement). Winning numbers will also post on our social channels @nats4good and at nats4good.org/jerseys.
I purchased tickets online, how will I know if I won?
Winners of the daily, online Raffle will be announced at Nationals Park in the middle of the 7th inning (or within fifteen minutes following any postponement or cancellation announcement). Winners will also be posted online at nats4good.org/jerseys and on our social channels @nats4good.
Am I required to have tickets to the October 2 game to win?
Raffle winners are not required to have tickets to the October 2 game to win or participate in the on-field ceremony.
If I won, how do I participate in the on-field ceremony?
Winners will notified via phone and email by 10:00 p.m. on October 1, 2022. Winners will receive details on how to participate in the on-field ceremony following the drawing on October 1.
I did not participate in the ceremony. How do I claim my prize?
You can email us at philanthropies@nationals.com and a member of our team can arrange a pickup date with you. All jerseys not claimed by a winner at the game on October 2 will ship within 10 business days.
Which players and coaches are included?
The players and coaches participating in this year’s Jerseys Off Their Backs fundraiser include players from the active roster and may include manager Davey Martinez. You may find the current active roster here: https://www.mlb.com/nationals/roster.
Do you get to pick which jersey you receive?
Washington Nationals Philanthropies cannot guarantee a winner which player’s jersey they will receive.
Why am I blocked from purchasing tickets online?
The online purchasing portal uses location services to ensure all purchasers are within the District of Columbia. Please ensure you are located within D.C. limits at the time of your purchase and that your location services are turned on.
Why can’t I purchase tickets online from Virginia or Maryland?
The Jerseys Off Their Back Raffle operated by Nationals Philanthropies is subject to the rules and regulations set forth by D.C. Lottery, the official municipal entity responsible for charitable games in the District of Columbia. D.C. Lottery does not have jurisdiction over charitable games in the neighboring states of Virginia and Maryland.
Why haven’t I received my online tickets?
If purchasing online you will receive an email with your Raffle numbers shortly after purchase. There may be a delay in the e-mail delivery during times of high website traffic. Any email delays do not impact your chances of entering the Raffle.
