Martha’s Table issued a $15,000 grant
For 40 years, Martha’s Table has worked to support strong children, families, and communities by increasing access to quality education programs, healthy food, and family resources. As the COVID19 pandemic has spread across the country, food insecurity in our nation’s capital has grown. To aid in the solution, Martha’s Table is doubling-down on its grocery access programs and forging innovative partnerships. The grant issued through the NATS4GOOD Community Response Fund will support families in the DMV with nutritious groceries and fresh meals delivered by Martha’s Table. Their partnership with Clyde’s Restaurant Group and Knead Hospitality & Design through the Food It Forward program is just one example of the innovative partnerships Martha’s Table has undertaken to address food insecurity.
