Fun and free baseball clinics

YBA PLAY delivers fun and free instructional clinics to kids, ages 5 to 12 in underserved communities, giving them the chance to learn and love the game of baseball with year-round clinics and summer league teams.

By reducing the barriers to access, both geographic and financial, providing young people with a positive, high-paced, engaging youth baseball experience, YBA PLAY can increase the consistent participation of youth in underserved communities by supporting the emotional and physical development of its participants.

YBA PLAY has received support from Nike, Fight For Children, the Joseph E. Robert, Jr. Charitable Trust, and the Seeber Family.

NATIONALS ACADEMY HOSTS ANNUAL MLB PLAY BALL WEEKEND EVENT

Hundreds of 5-12-year-olds participated in the annual PLAY BALL Weekend event at Nats Academy for free, fun, fast-paced games, drills, and instruction. Nationals pitcher Mitchell Parker joined in on the fun to help run drills with the young players.
